MAKING A GENERATION OF WORLD CHANGERS

INTRODUCTION;
According to Peter Drucker,- the management guru, "The world today is in an era of 3Cs- (1) Accelerating Change (2) Overwhelming Complexity and (3) Tremendous Competition."
This goes a long way to show that the world is dynamic and that development across the globe is mind-boggling and overwhelming. For example in the area of technological advancement, communication is by the speed of light, and the world has become a global village. No nation is left out.
Change is all about becoming different. A situation or an experience that is quite different from what used to be or an experience that is alien to a former experience. The bottom-line is that change is imminent. Looking at it from the perspective of the last definition, one would find out that what happened before seemed traditional with a sense of permanency and complacency.. Such a situation stagnates; therefore there is a clarion call for a change.  For an example the Arab Spring which swept through the Arab world came as a result of long-awaited call for a change of paradigm. The ruling class and system became traditional and permanent and the younger generation gained no place in the leadership framework. The ship of state was steered continuously by the same quarter masters and captains and the able seamen remained hewers of wood and fetchers of water. Prebendalism was the order of the day.
In countries where positive value system is protected, leadership rotates. That is the essence of this paper presentation. It will get you back home thinking, because value added thinkers are world changers, and the world is being ruled by great thinkers who invented things to make life in this world easy and meaningful. The world presently is being led by the inventions of those who are dead but still because their creations are still speaking.
Ranging from technological development, political and social dynamics, there are little or no inventions but innovation upon creations. Talking about inventions, the Airplane, Motorcar, Computers, Telephone, Train, Ship etc. are the brain children of value added thinkers of yesteryears who created great impressions on the sand of time. They were value added thinkers who died young and are living long because of their legacies.
Every young man and woman has an equal opportunity of becoming great in life, just the birds of the air that fly without colliding with one another. Thomas Eddison, The Wright Brothers, Abraham Graham Bell, Galileo, Henz Wargner, Zack Gowen, Henry Ford, Toyota, Honda, Mercedez Benz etc, were ordinary people who were born into this world with a divine purpose like every other person. They were able to identify it, capitalized on it and became extraordinary.
Naturally, man is an extension of God in creation, that is why God created man and left him to create the Airplane, Car, Train, Bridge over the river etc, The law of gravity proves that a piece of iron cannot float on air, but man being an extension of God's creative and thinking ability, created the big Airplane that floats on air beating the law of gravity. It is out of curiosity. Man graduated from traveling on Horseback to traveling in a car, a ship, an Airplane because of the inventions of some curious fellows.
In this new world era of which Peter Drucker talked about the three Cs, the world is witnessing a technological advancement like never before. It is called the golden era. For example, communication is by speed of light in the area of information technology, in the area of medicine, surgery is now being done via laser beam and solar energy. Nations are the research era of which the super power nations are no more comfortable with the speed of change. Presently no nation has the monopoly of space shuttle. It is an era of overwhelming complexity. It is a competitive era whereby the world is waiting for people with outstanding proofs, which would positively affect this generation. People get breakthrough by curiosity. This is because curiosity triggers investigation and investigation births invention. Curious people are thinkers having the desire to know or find out something. Talking about curiosity, one would want to ask three key questions, when answered would propel you to take vital steps that would sharpen your paradigm of greatness.
1. Who am I?
2. Why am I here?
3. What song shall be sung about me hereafter?
When these questions are answered properly, then you are on your way to greatness and about to come into the hall of world changers.
Civilization came into this world through the curiosity of some ordinary people who by positive thinking turned themselves extraordinary people of their time, by their works, this is because curious people are value added thinkers (VAT). The world is hungry for a generation of world changers and you are in the centre of such manifestation. Everyman is created to fulfill a definite purpose here on earth, if not you would not have been here.
That is why I propounded a mathematical formula that is a road map to the city of greatness or global changers world.
It is,:  P1 + P2 + D=G
            P3
Where, P1= Potential, which is your hidden talent.
Where, P2=Passion, which is the joy and satisfaction you experience as you engage in your divine assignment.
Where, D= Dream, which is your set-objective towards actualizing your divine assignment,
While, P3 =Purpose, which is your divine assignment or the reason why you are created and still living.
And, G = Greatness, which has to do with success in life, a situation whereby you are a voice in your field of endeavor.

It is the mystery of God's wisdom, and it concerns you and your assignment here on earth. You are wired with a program to function.
Your purpose is hidden in your potential, while your potential is your hidden ability. It is what you are able to do but have not done yet. It is hidden in your passion. Your purpose is what God the Creator of mankind had before the world began. Therefore your purpose is God's divine assignment, so that when you discover it, God takes over. It shows that you can only be a commander of signs and wonders in your place of divine assignment. So search out your purpose and begin to dream it, because dreamers are achievers.

CASE STUDY; The Apostles became great with mighty works or acts because they discovered their purposes in life. Some of them were in wrong professions before and when they located their purposes they dropped them. For example Peter was a professional Fisherman, when he discovered he was supposed to be a Fisher of men he dropped his fishing instruments and boat and went out to do his divine assignment. Paul the Apostle in his days was very learned a lawyer under the tutelage of Gamaliel. When he located his divine purpose, he dropped his very influential profession and obeyed God. Wrong profession can earn you money and affluence but it goes with you when you die, but when you are in the center of your divine assignment, you may die young but will live forever because your brain children will continue to speak.
The Acts of the Apostles of the Bible was written to keep records of the actions or works of the Apostles. They were commanders of signs and wonders of their time and generation. The world presently is waiting for your manifestation too. The bottom-line is that impact creation is basically determined by your ability to locate your divine purpose.
The question is "what is your act? Or what voice of yours does the world know"?
It is the only means by which you would be remembered.
The Apostles created some vital indelible marks on the sands of time because of the zeal with which they pursued their purposes. The record of their acts is still in place after about 2000 years. "Until you act, there will be no acts that would be written about you". Your acts are hidden in your purpose.
There are ingredients that made the Acts of the Apostles palatable. Though they are simple but mighty steps that altered the cause of history, but when applied, you shall begin to swim in ocean of greatness. They were not idle people, and when they discovered their divine purposes, they stopped whatever they were doing and went ahead to do their divine assignment. The reason is that it is only what you are created for, that you can function in effectively. If they had continued in their former estates, nobody would have heard of them today. God's purpose for your life lasts forever, while man's personal assignment lasts for a season.
